Auto Instagram Views: What "Automatic Views" Means and What to Use Instead

Two kinds of auto Instagram views: Reels that autoplay in the feed and views ordered per Reel

Search for auto Instagram views and you will find two very different things under one name. One is built into Instagram itself: Reels that start playing on their own. The other is a kind of plan some sellers offer, where views land on every new post without you ordering each time.

This guide explains both. You will see how autoplay turns into views, what an "auto views" plan usually involves, why we don't sell one, and how to get the same start for each Reel without handing over your password.

What are auto Instagram views?

Auto Instagram views has two meanings. The first is autoplay: Reels start playing by themselves as people scroll, and each start counts as a view. The second is a paid "auto views" plan, which usually means a subscription that adds views to each new post automatically. They share a name, not a method.

Auto Instagram views can mean two things. The first is autoplay. Reels start playing by themselves as people scroll through the feed, and Instagram counts a view each time a Reel starts to play, and again each time it replays, with no minimum watch time. Meta's developer documentation defines views as the "total number of times IG Media has been played on Instagram". So every autoplay start adds one view. The second meaning is a paid "auto views" plan, which usually means a subscription that adds views to each new post automatically. Instaviews does not sell auto or subscription plans. Instead, you order views for one public Reel or post right after you publish it. Delivery starts within 2–5 minutes after payment, the views arrive at a steady pace, and we only need the public link, never a password.

Does autoplay count as a view on Instagram?

Yes. When a Reel starts playing by itself in someone's feed, that start counts as a view. Instagram counts a view each time a Reel starts to play, with no minimum watch time, so the viewer does not have to tap anything. If the Reel loops and plays again, the replay counts as another view.

That is good news and a warning at the same time. Autoplay means your Reel collects views without anyone choosing to press play. It also means a single view says very little about interest. Someone who scrolls past after half a second still added one.

For a number that follows people rather than plays, compare views with accounts reached in Insights. Our guide to how views on Instagram are counted explains both numbers format by format.

How do you get more autoplay views on your Reels?

You get more autoplay views by giving people a reason to stay once your Reel starts. Autoplay already starts the play. What adds more views from there is a strong first second, a clean loop that earns replays, captions that work with the sound off and posting when your followers usually engage.

  • Open on the point. Autoplay hands you the first second for free. Show the result, the question or the surprise right away, not a slow intro.
  • Make it loop. Replays count as views. An ending that flows back into the start earns extra plays from the same viewer.
  • Add captions. A Reel that makes sense with the sound off keeps working for people scrolling in a quiet room.
  • Post when your audience is around. More followers scrolling while your Reel is new means more autoplay starts.

Our guide on how to get more Instagram Reel views goes through each step in more detail.

What does an "auto views" plan usually mean?

An auto views plan usually means a subscription where a seller adds views to each new post on your account automatically. You sign up once instead of ordering each time. Before you sign up for any plan like that, check what it needs from you, which posts it covers and how you stop it.

These are the questions worth asking any seller before you sign up:

  • What does it need from you? A seller that asks for your Instagram password is a hard stop, whatever else it offers.
  • Which posts get views? "Every new post" includes the ones you would rather leave alone, like a quick update or a test.
  • How do you stop it? Find the cancel step before you pay, not after.
  • What is the refund rule? Read it before your first payment, so you know what happens if views never arrive.

Does Instaviews sell auto or subscription views?

No. Instaviews does not sell auto views, monthly plans or subscriptions. You order views for one public Reel or post at a time, right after you publish it. Delivery starts within 2–5 minutes after payment, the views arrive at a steady pace, and we only ever need the link, never a password.

Ordering per Reel puts you in charge of three things. You choose which Reel gets a start. You size each order to that Reel. And no charge runs in the background between posts. If a Reel falls flat in its first hour, you leave it alone and put the money behind the next one.

How do you add views to every new Reel without an auto plan?

To add views to every new Reel without an auto plan, make ordering part of your posting routine. Publish the Reel, copy its public link, build the order on our site and send it from checkout. Delivery starts within 2–5 minutes after payment, so the views begin while the Reel is still new.

  1. Publish your Reel. Your account and the Reel have to be public.
  2. Copy the Reel's link from the share menu.
  3. Open the order panel on our homepage, paste the link and pick a pack from 2,000 to 5,000,000 views.
  4. Send the order on WhatsApp or by email from checkout.
  5. We reply with a payment link. Delivery starts within 2–5 minutes after payment is confirmed.

Here is what a routine costs with our price tiers:

Size each order to the Reel, not to a fixed plan. Our homepage guide on how many views to buy suggests 2 to 5 times your usual views per Reel. Our page on instant Instagram views explains what happens in the first hour after you pay.

Why is a password request a red flag?

A request for your Instagram password is a red flag because whoever holds your login can act as you: post, like, follow and change your settings. Views never need it. A view is a play of a public Reel, so we only ever ask for the public link, and nothing else from your account.

Walk away from any auto views offer, app or plan that does one of these:

  • Asks for your password or a "log in with Instagram" step to send views.
  • Makes your account watch, like or follow other accounts to earn views in return. That is activity Meta's Spam policy covers.
  • Wants access to your account when a public link would do.

Meta's Spam policy lists attempts to "artificially increase viewership", and Instagram can remove plays it treats as inauthentic. Our guide to Instagram views apps shows which apps help your Reels and which ones put your account at risk.

What can't automatic views do?

Automatic views, whether from autoplay or from a plan, can't make people like, comment, share or follow. They add plays to the count. Whether a viewer reacts depends on the Reel itself. Instagram can also remove plays it treats as inauthentic, so keep any views you buy in proportion to your account.

The same holds for every order we deliver. Views raise the public count, which is the first number a new visitor sees. The rest is up to the Reel. Our page on buying Instagram Reel views explains how a Reel order works from link to delivery.

Auto Instagram views: frequently asked questions

Can I set up automatic views on Instaviews?

No. We don't run subscriptions or auto plans. Each order covers one public Reel or post, and you place a new order for each one you want to add views to.

What is the closest thing to auto views here?

Ordering right after you publish. Every order arrives at a steady pace rather than in one burst. Our page on gradual Instagram views explains how that delivery works.

Do autoplay views count if someone scrolls past quickly?

Yes. A view counts once a Reel starts to play. Meta's definition mentions no minimum watch time.

Do you need my username or password?

Neither. We need the public link of the Reel or post. Story and profile links are not accepted, and the post has to stay public while the order runs.

What if my order doesn't start?

You get a full refund if delivery has not started within 24 hours after payment and your link is valid and public. The same applies if we cannot deliver or you are charged twice. Our refund policy has the details.
